Bart de Krijger was born and raised in a small family in The Netherlands. At the age of 13 he started to lead worship at his youth group. Leading worship has been the continual central part of his ministry ever since. In 1994 the family started 'Evangeliegemeente Sion' (a church affiliated with Partner in Harvest) in Montfoort. After studying Theology at the 'Centrale Pinkster Bijbleschool' he went to Canada to attend the TACF School of Ministry in 1997. There he met Jessica. After graduating they got married in Toronto and in 1998 moved back to Holland where they served as Assistant Pastors at 'Evangeliegemeente Sion'.

After the birth of their oldest daughter Unique Destiny they decided to move back to Canada in 2003. Their second daughter Acacia Joy was born in 2008.
After a short brake from ministry Bart was asked to join the staff at 'Singing Waters Ministries' in 2004. There he has been coordinating the Worship Departement until 2010, overseeing over 300 times of worship every year.
For many years Bart has been connected with 'Fatherheart World' and he has been leading worship at his home church 'Centre Fellowship' in Orangeville, Ontario ever since they moved back to Canada.
Bart started writing songs when he was 17 and ever since leaving Holland people have expressed their desire to take his worship home with them. The first self-published CD was made in 2001 and many more have followed. They are an ever increasing blessing around the world.
Each CD has it's own distinct direction and theme. All songs are wriiten by Bart and are coming from the strong foundational truth that we are children of our Heavenly Father, through the gift of Jesus Christ. The restorative power that comes from our intimate walk with Father God is the undercurrent in all that Bart conveys. When you encounter Bart's worship you will feel a blanket of peace and rest descending from heaven.
Recently Father God has opened up more opportunities to not just lead worship and produce his own CD's but as well being able to travel more and train others in the area of worship, creativity and identity. (see "Teaching Topics" and "2010 Calender" for more info) It is his hearts desire to not just lead people in a life changing encounter with God while leading worship, but as well impart his experience into others so that they will grow in their calling.
